Do you have any jobs at your house? What are they?	If you could take a family holiday anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

Look at the flags from countries around the world. Which one to you like the most. Why?	Share one amazing things you know about another country. For example: Egypt has the longest river in the world, the Nile.	Share a picture you like. It could be an illustration from a book, a photograph or a piece of art. Tell us why you like it.	We have learnt about 4 countries this term. Which would you like to visit and why.	Who is the funniest person you know? Talk about a funny thing they did. (Ask the person’s permission first.)

I am learning to speak in a clear and steady voice.  To do this I must practise reading my list.	I am learning to consider other people’s feelings before I share information.

Topic Super School Holidays	Topic Share your favourite game that you like playing.	Topic - Maths Trace around shapes and create a picture.  Count the shapes with tally sticks and share it with the class.	Topic Bring a book to school and share the beginning,middle and end. Topic - Maths Write a word problem which includes numbers for the children to solve.  eg.  If there were 36 seagulls on the roof and 7 flew away.  How many are left on the roof? News days.
Each student has a day when they will be telling their news.
The topics are to assist your child when they are delivering their class news.
The WALTS ( we are learning to..) help the children to practise presentations skills for delivery of speeches later in their schooling career.
If they have something exciting that happened to them, then they are welcome to tell us that news as well.
